What Is Simply Endorsed?
Simply Endorsed is a free, searchable reference tool that covers every FAA endorsement in AC 61-65K — the advisory circular CFIs use when signing a student's logbook. Instead of scrolling through a dense PDF, you type a keyword, FAR citation, endorsement ID, or checkride use case and get the exact endorsement language in seconds.
The tool lives at /simply-endorsed/ and requires no login, no download, and no account. It is built specifically for the endorsement language CFIs need on the flight line and the endorsement context student pilots want to understand before their checkride.
Who it's for
Certified Flight Instructors
Look up the exact endorsement ID and wording before signing a logbook. Search by the student's task, FAR citation, or common alias like "solo" or "flight review."
Student Pilots
Understand what endorsements you need at each stage of training — solo, cross-country, written test, checkride — and why your instructor is signing off on each one.
Flight Schools & Examiners
A quick cross-reference during pre-checkride briefings or standardization meetings — no need to open the full AC 61-65 PDF when you just need one endorsement.
What it covers
Every endorsement in AC 61-65K, organized into the categories pilots and instructors look up most.

Tailwheel, complex, high-performance, high-altitude, pressurized aircraft, and light-sport-specific endorsements.
How to use Simply Endorsed
Search by keyword, ID, or FAR
Type anything into the search box — "solo," "A.6," "61.87," "flight review," or "tailwheel" — and the tool filters to matching endorsements instantly. No submit button needed.
Browse by certificate or workflow
Use the sidebar filters to narrow by certificate level (student, private, commercial, instrument, CFI) or by common checkride workflows. Useful when you want to see all endorsements for a given path at once.
Read the full endorsement text
Each result shows the endorsement ID, the AC 61-65K section reference, common aliases, the FAR citation, and the full endorsement language. Expand any card for the complete context.
Why Simply Endorsed exists
AC 61-65K is a 60-page advisory circular that most CFIs bookmark but rarely read cover to cover. When you are on the flight line and need to confirm whether A.3 or A.4 covers pre-solo training, or whether the flight review endorsement is A.69 or A.70, the PDF is slow to navigate and easy to misread under time pressure.
Simply Endorsed was built to close that gap — a fast, searchable layer on top of the full circular that returns the right endorsement language without the friction of a PDF reader. The tool does not replace AC 61-65K, your CFI certificate, or your own judgment. It is a reference aid, the same way a POH checklist supports airmanship rather than replacing it.
